Pediatrics
Pediatrics, a core service since the inception of the BMS Health Center, serves patients from newborn to young adults. Our services range from routine health screenings for childhood diseases and immunizations to adolescent services. Our goal is to ensure that health care services continue uninterrupted as your child moves from infancy to adolescence to adulthood. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive well child and acute care of infants through adults.

ABOUT THE LEAD CLINICIAN:
Claude E. Offord received his MD from Rutgers Medical School in 1981 and completed pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey/UMDNJ. Dr Offord has been with has been with BMS since 1984.

ABOUT OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY (OB/GYN):
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides patients with the highest quality of primary, subspecialty, and preventive health care. The department achieves its mission by serving as an advocate for quality health care for women; by maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and patient satisfaction; by stressing the importance of continuing education for department members; by promoting patient education to ensure patient understanding and participation in their medical care; and by increasing department members' awareness of the changing health care climate and the impact of change on the practice of medicine. We are also participants in Text4baby, a program of the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (HMHB), provides timely health information to women via their cell phones starting in pregnancy and extending through their babies’ first year.
ABOUT DENTAL AT BMS
The BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers opened its doors in 1982 and its first dental office that same year. With the addition of a second dental practice in East New York, BMS now has three offices delivering dental care. BMS Main and our new locations BMS Dental @ Genesis and BMS Dental@Ashford both of which deliver much-needed oral healthcare to our community. In 2022 BMS will be expanding its dental practice moving from the BMS Main location to a State of the Art facility BMS Dental@Bristol
