BMS FUNDERS

After closing hours for all medical emergencies, please call 911 or go to the closest emergency room. To reach a BMS doctor, and find answering services, please contact our call center, we are available by phone 24 hours a day/ 7 days per week at (718) 345-5000.

Sliding Fee Scale availability based on family size and income. No patients are denied services due to insurance or immigration status or inability to pay.

BMS is a Federal Tort Claims Act-approved facility.

BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers (BMS) receives Health and Human Services (HHS) funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) status which under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), grants medical malpractice liability protection with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals. Under the Act, the BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers and its covered individuals are considered deemed Federal Public Health Service employees.
